Yukon provides programming and installation of site Process Control Systems (PCS). PCS is a general name for the computerized system that gathers and processes data from equipment and sensors and applies operational controls to the process equipment.
Our services include control system consultation and engineering services for owners and engineers requiring complex custom instrumentation and control systems. We have performed several projects for clients with custom design needs and are cognizant with the preparation of submittal documentation including material and equipment schedules, instrumentation summaries and product data, detailed sequences of operations, input/output (I/O) lists, data flow chart, graphic display interface, and logic diagrams.
Our technicians are proficient in the installation and programing of turnkey Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems including programmable logic controllers (PLC) and/or remote I/O devices (RIO), local operator interface (LOI), both local control panels (LCP) and vendor control panels (VCP), and all other components of the data management system. Yukon has the qualified personnel, expertise, and equipment to complete even the most complex instrumentation and control projects.
Yukon has an in-house UL508A fabrication facility where custom designed control panels can be assembled, tested, and inspected prior to field installation. These permanent facilities are equipped with all the tools and test equipment necessary to calibrate, test, and ensure proper functioning of all equipment and programming prior to field installation. With our offices conveniently located in Albuquerque, factory acceptance tests are easily scheduled and readily available for owners and engineers to witness.
Some of the specific jobsite capabilities include programming and troubleshooting the overall SCADA/PCS, motor control center (MCC) integration, instrumentation commissioning and start-up, end user training, record documentation, and various other field services.
